Did you obtain Building Rules Consent from council?

Does the building work relate to a Class 10 building only?

Regulation 83AB of the Development Regulations requires that at the time of completion of the building work a completed Statement of Compliance must be provided to the relevant authority that provided the Building Rules Consent within ten days. This requirement applies for all classes of building except Class 10 buildings, being carports, verandas, sheds and the like.

If you obtained Building Rules Consent from a Private Certification firm you are required to forward the completed Statement of Compliance to them. You may wish to contact them to establish their requirements for providing this information. If you obtained Building Rules Consent from council you may wish to attach all relevant documentation to this notification
